Leadlight Workshops

Join us for an immersive leadlight workshop at Chichi Botanicals in Melbourne!

Set in our enchanting shop, brimming with lush indoor plants and locally crafted giftware, this workshop offers a unique artistic experience for up to six people to join. Over the day, you'll delve into the art of leadlighting, creating your own small leadlight panel to take home.You will select from an array of designs and a vibrant selection of glass colours and textures to craft a personalised window panel. Under expert guidance, you'll learn essential skills including glass cutting, cutting lead, assembling your panel, soldering and finally, puttying and patina finishing your unique piece.

 

Please note: Due to the hazardous nature of lead, this workshop is not open to minors or individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding. All necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
